Backpacking the Porcupine Mountains-Upper Michigan (Oct)

I have an early October trip to the Porcupine Mountains in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, along the shores of Lake Superior. I should be there during peak fall colors for this first ever solo-backpacking trip. My 23 mile route over three days is a loop beginning and ending at the parking area near Little Carp River Road. I will spend one night each at Mirror Lake and on the Lake Superior shoreline with plenty of exploration happening in between. I've visited this area once before and am excited to explore this less busy area of the park!
